Bahiti's Mummification Ritual
He was our favorite family member, he always made people happy when he was around. He entered many competitions like Egypt's Got Talent, The Squawk, and Egypt's Master Chef. The day his egg was laid we were filled with joy! His feathers, were pure gold, his beak, pure white. He was the best chicken ever! We hope, that he may live in peace in the afterlife. Bahiti was a wonderful chicken. He would cook for the pharaoh and practiced fencing after school. He would knit sweaters for his mother and scarves for his father. On weekends, he would go out and work in the fields. Some of his favorite things were apples, pink unicorns, and harvesting pink apples with Ra and Thoth. He also liked to play with his kids. When he had spare time, Bahiti would play basketball at a gym with his friends.
We had a great time learning all about the mummification procedure and created one of our own rituals for our chicken Bahiti. We will be continuing on with this project for the next several weeks to see the changes the mummification process has.
